Been there....

Here’s something I know is true about us women…we actually do want it all.  And, we think we should automatically know how to do it perfectly.

 

Have you felt the pressure of juggling your work, your family and your health all at once, and like you weren’t doing any of them really well?

 

Have you experienced stress, overwhelm and just not feeling like the best version of you?

 

Do you feel like you never have enough time in the day to get it all done?  Or, maybe you keep putting off your health and fitness goals saying you’re going to start next Monday, but never do?

And, when was the last time

you really did something just for you?

 

My own experience with stress, overwhelm, having kids, hormone imbalance, weight gain, and working like a crazy woman with no boundaries certainly took it’s toll.  And, I had to rethink my relationship to food and fitness.

 

I actually love working out.  In college I used my time at the gym as stress relief.  

 

As a work-from-home career woman who traveled constantly, I became a work-a-holic with absolutely no boundaries (picture me in labor with my daughter while on my blackberry…sad, but true).

 

Eventually, the way I was working out for 1-2 hours at a time wasn’t giving me the results anymore because it was actually putting more stress on my body and I knew I needed to change my approach and mindset towards health and fitness.

 

Because I had LESS time to work out with all of my work and life responsibilities, I started doing shorter workouts and becoming a more mindful eater.  And guess what?  I got great results!

 

Approaching my lifestyle and fitness with a “less is more” strategy was key.  Elevated stress hormones hinder fat lass, and what I learned is that long workouts elevate stress hormones and your workout becomes totally ineffective.

 

It all started with shifting my focus and mindset, having a strategic and effective plan for my nutrition and fitness.  

 

Now, I’m passionate about helping other women, like you, achieve the same results. I don’t want you to live your life in a constant state of stress and overwhelm, leading to weight gain and unhappiness.
